ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell to Rollins, 9-0, in its final home match of the season on Wednesday at the Bullard Courts.
The Tars (8-9, 3-4 SSC) made quick work of Eckerd, taking every set in the match.
Emily Fridrik and
Joyce Fields battled with Fabiana Vitanza and Alexandra Borg at No. 1 doubles before losing a tight 8-5 decision, finishing a doubles sweep for the visitors.
Rollins then won all six singles contests in straight sets.
The Tritons (4-10, 0-6 SSC) return to the court on Friday visiting Nova Southeastern for a 2:00 PM start.
