ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The No. 2 Lynn University women's tennis team demonstrated its national ranking on Friday, defeating the Tritons 9-0 at the Bullard Courts.
The Fighting Knights (15-0, 5-0 SSC) dropped only two games in doubles play before completing the sweep with six singles victories.
Joyce Fields faced a difficult task against Diana Bogolii, ranked No. 6 in the nation, but took a pair of games in the second set. Â

MaryAnn Aaron also faced nationally-ranked opponents in singles play.
Eckerd returns to the court on Sunday, hosting Webber International (Fla.) at 12:00 PM for senior day.
