CONFERENCE WIN
- Eckerd notched its first conference series win this weekend, taking two contests from Rollins College. Eckerd took the opener Friday by a score of 5-3. The Tritons rallied for two runs in the sixth inning to tie the score.
Daniel Autiello started the rally grounding out to bring in the first run and
Chase Achuff later scored on a wild pitch.
Steven Salisbury drove in the winning run in the eighth on a single and Hiott provided an insurance run in the ninth on a sac bunt.
- The Tritons split their games on Saturday as they took the first game, 9-7, before dropping the finale, 9-5. In the win, Eckerd jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the second inning. The Tars were able to tie the score in the fourth but it didn't last long, however, as Eckerd erupted for three runs in the sixth to secure the win and take the series.

- Four Tritons are leading the team's offense hitting over .300 -
Nick Conti (.388),
Sam Cochrane (.375),
Tom Buonopane (.333), and
Mitch Calandra (.329).
- Conti has reached base safely in every game this season (21) while also carrying an eight-game hit streak. Conti went 4-for-10 over the weekend, driving in two runs. Â
- Buonopane drove in five runs over four games last week, including a two-run blast Tuesday night over the left field fence. Buonopane has also reached base safely in his last 15 games.
- Calandra went 5-for-13 over the weekend against Rollins while driving in five runs. Calandra smacked a bases-loaded double in the second game of the series driving in three runs. Â

- Relief pitcher
Jack Mahan has been outstanding this season, boasting a 2-0 record with two saves. Over the weekend, Mahan picked up the win in the opener in two innings of hitless work, while taking the save on Saturday. Mahan has struck out 19 while limiting his batters to a .193 batting average.

Dillon McCollough leads the team with a 2.14 ERA, ranking fifth in the conference. McCollough has fanned 50 over 33.2 innings, leading the conference.
ABOUT THE PURPLE KNIGHTS
- Bridgeport comes into the series with a record of 2-4. The team will play eight games over the week in Florida. Last night the Purple Knights fell to Saint Leo in a marathon contest by a score of 18-17 in 10 innings.
- The Knights have nine players batting over .300. Chris Traino leads the team batting .500 and has hit two doubles, one triple, and one home run. Cam Overbaugh provides speed on the bases with a perfect 5-for-5 performance in stolen bases.
- Dave Egeland leads Bridgeport on the mound with a 4.91 ERA and limiting his hitters to a .115 batting average. Egeland has eight punchouts over 7.1 innings.
LAST TIME THEY MET
- The two teams met last season as Eckerd came away with the 10-6 win. Mahan took the win for the Tritons as Calandra and Autiello had two hits apiece.
