ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Florida Southern on Tuesday at the Bullard Courts.
The Mocs (1-3, 1-0 SSC) swept through doubles before doing the same in singles as Eckerd (0-3, 0-3 SSC) still looks for its first win of the season.
Emily Fridrik and
Joyce Fields lost at No. 1 doubles, 8-2, as did
MaryAnn Aaron and
Bailey Koronich at No. 2 doubles. Â Fields also took a pair of games in the first set from FSC No. 1 Lorena Rionda in singles.
The Tritons return to the court on Sunday hosting Walsh (Ohio) University at 10:00 AM.
