TRITONS THIS WEEK: What's Coming On December 11-17

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.- It's a slow week for Eckerd athletics with just one game this week. Women's basketball will host Lewis (Ill.) University on Sunday afternoon.

Eckerd (9-1, 4-1 SSC) looks to add to its seven-game winning streak as the Tritons host Lewis (Ill.) University on Sunday for a nonconference matchup.
Eckerd's offense is led by Kacie Juday who averages 13.8 points per game. Behind Juday is a balanced offense of four Tritons; Yarden Danan (9.2 PPG), Chelsea Johnson (8.7), Zoe Richards (7.7), and Armi Anttila (7.6). The five are very effective shooters all shooting above a 40 percent clip with Richards and Juday leading the team with 56.9 and 54.8 shooting percentages respectively.
Juday also leads the team on the boards averaging 8.6 rebounds per game, which ranks fourth in the conference. Richards and Anttila average 4.8 and 4.3 rebounds per game respectively.
Ada Yalcin drives the Eckerd offense averaging a conference third-best 4.0 assists per game. Yalcin also leads the team with 1.8 steals per game.
Lewis (7-3, 2-1 GLVC) enters the week off of a conference win over the University of Indianapolis. The Flyers will play Florida Southern before they head to the McArthur Center. The Flyers are led by two players averaging double-digits: Jessica Kelliher (24.7 PPG) and Rachel Hinders (14.3). Hinders and Kelliher also lead the team on the glass averaging 7.6 and 7.3 rebounds per game respectively.
