TRAFFIC JAM: With two weeks of conference play in the books, no team has yet to emerge as the clear front-runner in the Sunshine State Conference. Â Six teams are tied atop the standings with 2-1 SSC marks, including Eckerd and Saint Leo.
FIVE-SET FINISHES: The Tritons have gone to five sets on three occasions this season, including twice in conference play. Â Eckerd emerged victorious in both of those instances in conference with 3-2 wins over No. 22 Florida Southern and Nova Southeastern. Â EC is 2-1 in five-set matches this season.
GIVE AN ASSIST: Junior setter
Gabriella Reis has been effective in her first year as the team's primary setter. Â Reis has twice totaled a career-high 52 assists while also providing defensive support with an average of 2.7 digs per set in her last five games. Â Reis has a team-high four double-doubles this season.
ABOUT SAINT LEO: The Lions have faced tough competition early in the season with six matches against top-25 teams. Â SLU has posted wins over No. 11 Rockhurst (Mo.), No. 8 Lewis (Ill.) and No. 16 Tampa. Â The team ranks second in the conference in kills per set (13.23) with senior Hope Lemon (3.97) ranking seventh among individual players.
