MEN'S SOCCER GAMEDAY: Tritons Return Home to Host Embry-Riddle

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team returns home to the Turley Athletic Complex tonight to host Embry-Riddle (Fla.) at 7:00 PM.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME: The Tritons have been tough to handle at home over the last two seasons.  Eckerd is perfect this year at the Turley Athletic Complex at 5-0 and is 10-1-1 at home since the 2015 season.

STOP 'EM COLD: Junior goalkeeper Alex Gott, the reigning SSC Defensive Player of the Year, has picked up where he left off last season.  Gott leads the conference in save percentage (.818) and total saves (27) and is tied for the lead in clean sheets (3).

SET 'EM UP: Matheus Assumpcao is the conference leader in assists, entering tonight's contest with six.  He needs three assists to tie for the program record for most assists in a single season.

ABOUT EMBRY-RIDDLE: The Eagles enter another year of transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II.  ERAU is 1-1 against SSC competition this season, falling 6-2 to Barry and defeating Nova Southeastern, 2-0.  Their defense has been prone to allowing scores as opponents average 2.8 goals per match against the Eagles.
