ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Eckerd women's tennis team were visited by the second ranked team in the nation as the Barry Buccaneers stepped onto the Bullard Courts for a Sunshine State Conference contest.
The Tritons (2-14, 0-6 SSC) were unable to overcome a lineup full of ranked competitors as the Bucs stayed perfect on the season (12-0, 4-0 SSC) with a 5-0 decision.
EC returns to action early tomorrow afternoon as the Tritons challenge their third ranked opponent of the week against ITA No. 31 Embry-Riddle. The contest between the Eagles and Tritons will begin at 1:00 PM from the Bullard Courts.
