LAKELAND, Fla. – Regular season play for the Eckerd women's tennis program came to an end on Saturday as the Tritons traveled to Lakeland for a Sunshine State Conference contest against ITA No. 40 Florida Southern
The Tritons (2-17, 0-8 SSC) battled throughout the contest but came up short in all nine positions as the Moccasins (10-8, 3-4 SSC) took the sweep.
All that remains for the Tritons on the season is the SSC Championship in Tampa. The tournament is scheduled for April 28-30 Hillsborough Community College Tennis Complex and the field will be announced at a later date.
