ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Tritons tennis teams are set to open up their home schedules with three contests taking place at the Fred Bullard Courts this week.

MEN'S MATCH 6: Saint Leo (5-0) at Eckerd (2-0) | Sunday - 11:00 AM

LAST TIME OUT:The Tritons were victorious in the men's and women's tennis matches at Ave Maria on Saturday. The men picked up their second win in as many matches on the season with a 6-2 victory over the Gyrenes. On the women's side, EC recorded its first win of the year with a 7-2 decision.
JOHN CARROLL PREVIEW:The Blue Streaks made their first trip to St. Petersburg last season as the Tritons did not drop a point in either match with EC winning both, 9-0. JCU and EC share one familiar foe this season in Southeastern (Fla.). John Carroll was defeated by the Fire, 5-4, in both contests while Eckerd split with the men winning 9-0 and women falling 8-1.
WARNER PREVIEW:The most recent meeting between the Royals and Tritons saw a split during the 2014 season. The Triton women were victorious, 8-1, while the men fell, 7-2. Warner and Eckerd share identical records in men and women's competition on the season.
SAINT LEO PREVIEW:Both Saint Leo teams were picked to finish second this season in the Sunshine State Conference behind Barry. The Lions enter the week ranked 3rd in the ITA DII women's poll with a 4-1 record. On the men's side, Saint Leo enters the week with a 5-0 record and ranked 7th in the ITA DII poll. SLU defeated the Tritons 9-0 in both of last season's meetings.
