MEN'S BASKETBALL GAMEDAY: #22/24 Eckerd at Nova Southeastern

ABOUT THE SHARKS
- Nova Southeastern notched a big upset win last weekend over Barry, 105-91.  Senior Chris Page went for 41 points while Harrison Goodrick added 30.
- Today is the final home game of the season for the Sharks, where the team is 7-4 in the NSU Arena.  The team's four seniors will be honored during the day.
- Chris Page is one of the conference's most dangerous scorers, averaging 21.0 points per game.  Harrison Goodrick has also been tough to stop inside, averaging 16.0 points per game while shooting 57.4 percent from the floor.
- The Sharks are in a three-way tie for fifth place in the conference standings with Lynn and Florida Southern.

ABOUT THE TRITONS
- After losses by both Barry and Rollins, Eckerd has retaken sole possession of first place in the SSC standings by a half-game over both teams.  The Tritons are looking to win their first regular-season conference title since 1995.
- The Tritons jumped back into the national rankings on Tuesday, coming in at No. 22 in the media poll and No. 24 in the coaches poll.  Eckerd is also ranked No. 2 in the NCAA South Region rankings.
- Eckerd will again look to defense to pick up a key road win.  The Tritons lead the conference in scoring defense, allowing just 68.5 points per game.  EC's defense was on display in the first meeting of the season between the two teams, holding NSU to 60 points on 40.4 percent shooting.
- Junior guard Kevin Walsh has been lighting it up from 3-point range as of late, shooting 45.0 percent from behind the arc over his last five games.  His 11.5 point-per-game average is second on the team behind Drushaun McLaurn's 11.7.

Eckerd placed four players in double figures led by Jerrick Stevenson's 14 points on the way to a 70-60 win over the Sharks in St. Petersburg on January 6.
