LAST MEETING Eckerd 82, Franklin 67 (11/24/15)

KEEPING IT CLOSE: After a 16-point win over West Alabama to open the season, the Tritons have been in nail-biters in every game since.  In fact, all three games have come down to the last shot.  Eckerd missed a game-tying chance in a three-point loss to Delta State (Miss.) and a game-winning shot in a two-point loss to Florida Tech, then forced a game-winning miss by Embry-Riddle in a two-point win on Saturday.

CAREER DAY: Kevin Walsh posted career highs in both points (22) and 3-pointers (7) last Wednesday against Florida Tech.  The senior leads the team in scoring along with sophomore Drushaun McLaurn, averaging 14.5 points per game.  He needs five more 3's in order to move into sixth place all-time at Eckerd.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES: Franklin, an NCAA Division III program, opened its season with a pair of victories including an 88-84 win last night over Florida College.  Senior guard Aaron Mann, a dangerous scorer who averaged 20.1 points per game last season, netted 29 in FC's first game of the year.
