ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team begins its final week of home contests of the regular season tonight when the Tritons host Florida Tech in a non-conference match at 7:00 PM.

REMATCH: Tonight's contest is a rematch of a September 17 duel at Florida Tech. Â The Panthers notched a goal in the 73rd minute to secure a 3-2 win over the Tritons, handing Eckerd its first loss of the year. Â

RUN OF RANKED OPPONENTS: The Tritons' last three matches have been against teams ranked in the NSCAA NCAA Division II Top 25; Eckerd went 1-2 in those contests. Â After two more wins last week, Florida Tech could make for EC's fourth in a row should the Panthers jump into the rankings in the Week 7 poll released later today. Â The Tritons are 2-2 against ranked opponents this season with both wins coming at home.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS: Florida Tech's only two losses this season have come against ranked opponents, falling by one-goal margins to Lynn and Palm Beach Atlantic.
