WOMEN'S SOCCER GAMEDAY: Tritons Set to Pay Visit to Rival Spartans

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's team travels across the bay to face rival University of Tampa tonight at 7:00 PM.

GAME 14: Eckerd (5-6-2, 1-2-2 SSC) at Tampa (4-6-1, 2-2-1 SSC) | 7:00 PM | Tampa, Fla.
COVERAGE: Stats | Video

SPOTLESS SHEETS: Freshman goalkeeper Casey Winn recorded her fourth clean sheet of the season on Sunday in a 0-0 draw at Palm Beach Atlantic.  The Fort Myers native leads the Sunshine State Conference in saves with 70 in shutouts while allowing an average of just 1.081 goals per match.

GET ON THE BOARD: The Triton defense has been spectacular in recent matches, but Eckerd has experienced its own issues putting the ball in the net.  The Tritons have only scored three goals in their last seven outings, but could have a chance to break through against a Spartan defense that allows a conference-high 1.82 goals per match.

ABOUT TAMPA: The Spartans have rebounded after a slow start to the season and enter tonight's contest having gone unbeaten in their last four matches.  UT notched consecutive wins over Palm Beach Atlantic (2-1), Florida Southern (1-0) and Embry-Riddle (2-1) before playing to a 1-1 draw with Lynn.  Nastasia Asgedom leads the team in goals with three.
