ABOUT THE KNIGHTS
- Lynn snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with an 82-71 win over the University of Tampa.  Fred Landers had a huge game with 29 points to lead the way for the Knights.
- Landers, a 6-foot-4 senior forward, is one of the top scorers in conference averaging 22.3 points per game.  He is definitely the team's go-to player on offense, taking over 23 percent of the team's shots so far this season.  David Johnson is also a threat to score, averaging 15.2 points per game.
- Lynn features one of the conference's highest-powered offenses, scoring 85.2 points per game.  The Knights do allow a lot of points, though, giving up 84.3 per game.  They often rely on defense to create transition opportunities, leading the SSC in turnover margin (+5.0) and turnovers forced (18.1 per game).

ABOUT THE TRITONS
- For the first time in program history, the Tritons vaulted into the top 10 in the NABC Coaches Poll coming in at No. 7 in Tuesday's rankings.  Eckerd also moved up to No. 6 in the D2SIDA Media Poll.  Eckerd's 14-game winning streak is the longest current streak in Division II.
- The Tritons scored a big win on Saturday on the road over Florida Southern.  The win in Lakeland was Eckerd's first against FSC since January 20, 2007.  EC held the Mocs to 21 points below their season average.
- Eckerd leads the conference in scoring defense, allowing an average of 69.0 points per game - also good for 38th in the nation.  The Tritons rank in the top 50 in Division II in seven statistical categories including 3-point percentage (40.5 percent; 20th), scoring margin (+13.5; 22nd) and free throws attempted (434, 13th).
- Four Tritons average in double figures led by Jerrick Stevenson's 13.3 points per game.  Kevin Walsh (11.5 ppg), Drushaun McLaurn (11.5 ppg) and Trevon Young (10.1 ppg) also average better than 10 points per game.  Walsh had been deadly from 3-point range, connecting on 47.8 percent of his attempts.
