ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd College women's soccer team looks to remain unbeaten on the season today as they host Webber International (Fla.) at 7:00 PM.

Live VideoSETTING THE STAGEThe Tritons (2-0-1) are coming off a pair of wins last week, scoring three times in each contest. On Thursday, they knocked off Palm Beach Atlantic in overtime, 3-2, and will aim to head into Wednesday's conference opener with an unblemished record. Webber International, an NAIA member, is playing its season opener against Eckerd. Last season, the Warriors went 6-9-1 and returns key players such as goalkeeper Kayla Henry and leading goal-scorer Cierra Abundez.

LARKIN IS GOLDENShannon Estes-Larkin put away a world-class strike in the 95th minute on Thursday as her golden goal gave Eckerd a 3-2 win over Palm Beach Atlantic. After PBA jumped ahead early, the Tritons equalized the match in the 61st minute on an
Abby Sanchez goal and took the lead two minutes later on a set piece by
Taylor Tippett. The Sailfish then equalized the match late before Estes-Larkin's heroics kept EC unbeaten.
BALANCED OFFENSEEckerd has scored seven goals thus far this season with six different players finding the back of the net. Estes-Larkin leads the team with two goals while Sanchez, Tippett,
Alice Wader,
Monique Elliott and
Leah Chisolm each have one.
NET ASSAULTThrough its first three matches, Eckerd has dominated possession against its opponents resulting in a 63-26 advantage in shots taken. The Tritons have placed nearly half of those - 47.6 percent - on goal.
