Box ScoreST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Eckerd College women's tennis program put together a clean sweep, taking care of business against Bentley University at the Turley Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon, 9-0.
The Tritons (4-4, 0-2) continued their surge in non-conference duals, winning their third matchup this week.
"Everyone on the team played really well today," said Head Coach,
Ben Maxwell. "They worked hard for their win today and earned a well-deserved off day tomorrow before getting back on the courts."

Erika Fridrik, and
Amy Naula maintained their team-leading pace in the singles column. They notched their fifth victories of the spring, two of which came in single pro-set format.

Emily Fridrik compiled 8-3 and 8-4 wins in doubles action.
The tandem of Benn and
Carson Trapp picked up their fourth doubles victory in a row. The duo nabbed their team leading sixth win, improving to 6-2 on the season.
From the No. 3 singles slot, Em. Fridrik competed in a tough three set match. After falling in the first set, the sophomore battled back and took home the victory in a 10 point tie breaker.
Benn and Naula both polished off 8-1 and 8-0 convincing wins in their singles bouts to help contribute to the team's shutout.
The Tritons will have a few days of rest before heading back out to the courts. EC will host Southeastern Oklahoma State University on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
