Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – On Saturday afternoon, the Eckerd College volleyball team fell in four sets to Barry University.
While the match was back and forth as both teams took home a win in the first two sets. Eckerd lost their strength in sets three and four to fall to the Buccaneers.
Emily Schadow nabbed four kills in set one as the Tritons were outhit by the Buccaneers and fell, 25-23.
EC came out strong in set two as they rallied behind
Mackenzie Redner. The freshman grabbed a new career high as she slammed down 13 kills on the night to hit, .407.
The Tritons took home set two by a score of 25-20.
Lauryn Nelson grabbed nine kills throughout match.
The Tritons lost their momentum as they fell to the Buccaneers in sets three and four.
Schadow tallied 31 assists on the night, bringing her season total up to 610.

Kaitlyn Sibson continued to shine as she dove all over the court, racking up 19 digs.
The Tritons (12-11, 3-7) will take to the road for four consecutive games. On Wednesday, they will take on the Tars of Rollins College (14-11, 6-5). The match will begin at 7 p.m.
