Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – In the final day of the Florida Southern Crossover, the Eckerd College Volleyball team fell in four sets to Lee University, 3-1.
In four hard fought sets, the Tritons could not rally enough power to take down the Flames.
Set one belonged to Lee as they came out strong and defeated EC, 25-21.
Tjasa Kotnik led the charge for the Tritons tallying 14 kills to hit an astounding .448.
The Tritons then fell in a close second set, 26-24.

Ali McAlvany who took home her 11
th double-double of the year, the Tritons took home the win in the third set, 25-21.
Emily Schadow and
Gabriella Reis Guimaraes each grabbed 28 and 25 assists respectively.
Eckerd fought hard in the fourth set but fell to the Lee Flames, 25-23.

Kaitlyn Sibson continued to have a phenomenal breakout season as she tallied 20 digs throughout the match.
Kotnik was selected to the Florida Southern/ South Region Crossover team for her performance during the tournament. The junior drilled home 39 kills on the weekend.
Eckerd (12-9, 2-6) will look to get back on track as they join back into SSC play, taking on Nova Southeastern (10-9, 3-5) on Friday at home. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
