Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – The Eckerd College men's soccer team fell in a hard fought match to Florida Tech on Saturday night, 2-1.
Defense was the name of the game throughout the first half as both teams combined for six shots on goal.
FIT managed to get off a clean shot and put in the first goal of the contest just minutes before halftime to go up, 1-0.
EC came into the second half and got off three shots in the first three minutes, but could not find the back of the net.

Nick Murawski a beautiful pass which Murawski deposited into the goal to tie the match up at 1-1.
Late in the second half Eckerd was called for a penalty in the box which resulted in a penalty kick by the Panthers. Drake Hillman was able to put his team up, 2-1, with what
would eventually be the game winning goal.
The Tritons (2-7-1, 0-2-1) will take on No. 3 Saint Leo University (7-0-2, 3-0) in a road contest on Tuesday night. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
