Men’s Tennis Topped by No. 6 Rollins College, 9-0

WINTER PARK, Fla.
– With the Sunshine State Conference schedule closing soon this spring, the Eckerd College men's tennis program fell against sixth-ranked Rollins College on the road Saturday afternoon, 9-0.

The Tritons (1-9, 0-0 SSC) have three more non-conference matches on the schedule and one more league contest at Saint Leo University to close the regular season after facing the Tars (8-5 overall) today.

Carrying a No. 4 ranking in the South Region according the International Tennis Association (ITA), Rollins put together a singles sweep and assembled all three doubles victories.

In order, the Tritons sent out the familiar starting rotation of senior Dylan Randazzo, sophomore Stephen Felman, freshman Frazier Springfield, senior Ben Levy, freshman Jonathan Cheng and sophomore Luke Burton.

Randazzo and Felman formed EC's No. 1 doubles pairing, falling by an 8-2 decision against Will Kwok and Jason Alabaster.

Levy and Cheng were also tipped by the same score at No. 3 against Adrian Di Felice and Malte Christesen while Springfield and Burton were ousted by an 8-1 final versus Robin Marchione and Sebastian Hafner.

The Tritons will return to the Turley Athletic Complex tomorrow morning for a non-conference matchup against Merrimack (Mass.) College beginning at 10 a.m.
