Bri Smith at the helm of the 19th-ranked team in the country, a new era is ready to be ushered in for the Eckerd College volleyball program.
The Tritons will hit the road early tomorrow morning for opening day, a short trip to Winter Park, home of the Rollins College Invitational.
On the docket includes a 12:40 p.m. matchup against the Dragons of Minnesota State University-Moorhead, members of the Northern Sun Conference, and a 4:20 p.m. contest against Chestnut Hill (Pa.) College.
Saturday's action will feature California State University at 10:50 a.m. before the Tritons close against NCAA South Region qualifier and defending Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) champion Kentucky State University at 6:10 p.m.
On record, it will be EC's first-ever meeting against all four opponents.
The Tritons will not face host and Sunshine State Conference counterpart No. 22 Rollins or Pace (N.Y.) University in the tournament.
Live stats and video feeds will be available for all four matches Eckerd is scheduled to play in over the two-day span.
