TAMPA, Fla. - The Eckerd College women's tennis team fell to Tampa 6-3 Wednesday afternoon at the UT Tennis Complex.
Senior
Emmy Laing earned a point taking a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Tampa's Leslie Raymond at No. 1 singles.
Junior
Stephanie Jenks also earned a point for the Tritons, defeating Nikol Williams 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
Laing and sophomore
Amanda Teets earned a doubles point, defeating Tampa's No. 1 doubles team 8-6.
The Eckerd College women's tennis team will travel to Saint Leo, Fla. to wrap up conference play on Friday. Results will be posted on eckerdtritons.com.
