ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Lynn University men's and women's tennis teams took a pair of Sunshine State Conference wins over Eckerd College on Sunday afternoon at the Turley Athletic Complex.
The Lynn men won 8-1, while the women took a 9-0 decision.
Dylan Randazzo got Eckerd's lone victory of the day at No. 6 singles. Randazzo won the first set over George Laffey in a tiebreaker before Laffey had to retire in the second set.
The Eckerd men's team (3-4, 1-1 SSC) had a three-match win streak snapped. The women's squad fell to 1-5 (0-2 in league play).
The women's team will play host to Florida Southern at 3 p.m. on Tuesday before the men's team faces Division I Georgetown at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Both matches will be at the Turley Athletic Complex.
