Men's and Women's Tennis Defeats Bentley

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Eckerd College men's and women's tennis teams each posted victories over visiting Bentley on Sunday at the Turley Athletic Complex.
 
The men's team (4-6) defeated the Falcons 8-1, while the women's team (2-6) took a 5-4 win.
 
The EC men swept the three doubles points before claiming five of the six singles matches. Aaron Kleefield won both his singles and doubles matches in tiebreakers, claiming a 10-8 victory in the singles tiebreaker win over Victor Suski.
 
On the women's side, the Tritons fought back after dropping two of their three doubles matches. Emmy Laing, Stephanie Jenks, Amanda Teets and Sonnet Ludwig each won their respective singles matches to complete the rally.
 
Both teams will play host to Indianapolis at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
