With a 23-4 overall record heading into the final weekend of the regular season and only conference road matchups at Lynn University and Barry University remaining, the Tritons are also well on their way to meeting two other mystery goals that represents unfinished business going into the postseason.

“For the amount of hard work our girls have put in over the spring and summer, this is where we want to be right now,” EC Head Coach Courtney Draper said. “Our leadership is really stepping up and getting us ready for where we want to be peaking.”

The Tritons, ranked second in the South Region, have all but locked up their fifth NCAA Tournament bid in Draper's eight years at the helm.

Eckerd is gunning for the regular-season sweep against Lynn  (14-15, 6-8 SSC) tomorrow in Boca Raton at 7 p.m. and Barry (11-15, 3-11 SSC) the next day at 4 p.m. in Miami Shores.

The Tritons' prior wins on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 against the Bucs and Fighting Knights ignited the start of Eckerd's program-best 14-match win streak. EC hit a season-best .443 against Lynn and attacked at a .300 clip against Barry.

The NCAA Div. II Tournament bracket will be unveiled this Sunday at 10 p.m.
