WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Eckerd College women's soccer program had its season come to an end on Friday evening, falling on the road in a make-up game against 12th-ranked Rollins College, 0-4.
Ali Schrader scored a pair of goals for the Tars (13-1-1, 7-1 SSC) against the Tritons (5-12, 0-8 SSC), who struggled to get the offense tracked.
Rollins struck in the early stages, finding the net at the 3:54 mark on a Kelsey Boone unassisted boot. Schrader scored just four minutes later and the Tars added one more point in the 19th minute to hold a three-goal advantage before halftime.
Schrader scored her second goal of the game in the 77th minute to back her goalkeeper, Michelle Dillingham, in the shutout effort.
