DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -
Georgia Gordon finished 32nd out of 80 golfers, firing a two-round 171, to lead the Eckerd Women's Golf Team to a ninth-place finish out of 15 teams at the Eagle Invitational. The tournament was hosted by Embry-Riddle University at the Pelican Bay Country Club.
Nicole Lasasso finished 34th, just two strokes behind Gordon. The duo both carded team-best 84s in the first round.
Morgan Deutsch finished 36th, one stroke behind Lasasso.
Leah Colombo and
Jessica Potter rounded out Eckerd's participants, finishing 50th and 51st, respectively.
Eckerd will return to the links on Monday, March 29 as it travels to Miami, Fla. to participate in the Buccaneer Invitational, hosted by Barry University, at Shula's Inn and Country Club.
