ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - After coming off a win against Division I Valparaiso, the Eckerd women's tennis team fell to Palm Beach Atlantic, 6-3, at the Turley Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon.
The Sailfish swept the Tritons in doubles play, but Eckerd was able to pick up three wins during singles action.
Emmy Laing,
Amanda Teets#, and
Manon Ironside all picked up wins for the Tritons. Laing was victorious in No. 1 singles, while Teets defeated her competition at the No. 3 spot, while Ironside went into a super tiebreaker, defeating her opponent in No. 4 singles.
Eckerd will travel over to Lakeland on March 17th, as they get set to take on Florida Southern College. Match is set to start at 3:00 pm.
