TAMPA, Fla. - The 22nd-ranked Eckerd Tritons (12-8) found it difficult to muster any offensive rhythym as the North Alabama Lions (14-11) held the Tritons to a .153 attack percentage en route to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-19) victory on Saturday afternoon at Tampa's Bob Martinez Center.

For the match, the Lions hit .236 as a team as Sarah Roberts had 12 kills while Ari Smith added 10 in the match. Lauren Greenhill reached double digits in digs with 10 while Alison Jacobs just missed a triple-double with nine kills, 31 assists and 10 digs for UNA.

After cruising in the first set, the Lions held on for a close two-point win in the second. UNA held a commanding 23-12 lead in the final set before holding off a frantic Eckerd rally. The Tritons scored seven straight points to cut the deficit to four at 23-19. After Roberts ended the streak with a kill to set up match point, Jacobs got the game's final point with a tip over the Eckerd block to secure the win.
