The first baseman and designated hitter from Miami, Fla. is off to a strong start to his junior season. Grande is slashing .500./577/.773 with nine RBIs through seven games. He went 5-for-10 in the season-opening series at West Georgia. He then went 4-for-4 with three RBIs in the opener at Spring Hill. Grande has reached base safely in all seven games to start the season.
