Ward had the Tritons' defense standing tall in historic weekend victories against new No. 1 University of Tampa and Rollins College...Facing the brunt of the league's hardest-hitting players on serves and attacks, Ward was inpenetrable while anchoring the back row...Against Tampa she had 15 digs and followed that up with a team-high 26 against the Tars from Rollins.
