Trevor Jossart joined Eckerd as the assistant athletic director for communications in August 2025 after previously serving in the same role at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.

In his first year at Eckerd, Jossart led the athletic communications efforts for one of the most successful seasons in department history. He publicized two CSC Academic All-Americans—bringing the program's all-time total to seven after only five had been recognized prior to his arrival—while promoting seven All-Americans, more than 25 All-Sunshine State Conference selections, over 30 SSC Players of the Week, and five NCAA postseason teams or individual qualifiers.

Under his direction, Eckerd Athletics experienced significant digital growth, including more than 100,000 viewers on the department's streaming network, an 83 percent increase from the previous year, nearly 800,000 website views, more than 5.3 million Instagram views, and over one million Facebook views. He also served as a panelist at two sessions during the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Unite Convention.

Prior to Eckerd, Jossart oversaw comprehensive communications strategies for Augustana College's 28 varsity sports, including media relations, live streaming, website management, social media, statistical and historical record-keeping, and graphic design. Under his leadership, the department experienced notable growth in digital engagement, including surpassing 100,000 home broadcast views during both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years.

From 2021-22 through 2024-25, Jossart provided coverage for more than 50 All-Americans, multiple nationally ranked programs, two individual national champions, and hundreds of All-CCIW student-athletes. Augustana also produced 10 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans during his tenure, including five during the 2023-24 academic year. He successfully led the department in hosting multiple major events, including three USA Water Polo National Tournaments and several CCIW Conference Championships.

Jossart is an active voice within the profession, serving on the CSC Academic All-America Committee. He has also served as a voter in the D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll and was named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Sports Information Director of the Year in both 2022 and 2023. Throughout his career, he has helped manage communications operations for numerous championship events, including the SSC Women's Golf Championship, three USA Water Polo National Tournaments, multiple CCIW Conference Championships, and the NCAA Division I Showdown in St. Pete men's basketball tournament.

A native of Wisconsin, Jossart earned his bachelor's degree in Sport & Recreation Management from Marian University. He began his professional career in Madison, Wisconsin, working in sports radio sales and freelance writing before earning a master's degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Sports Media from Liberty University.

In 2018, Jossart became Sports Information Director at Southwestern College in Kansas. There, he revitalized the athletic department's digital presence, increasing its social media following by 50 percent over three years while maintaining conference-leading engagement metrics. He also served as general manager for The Advantage, an All-NAIA team that competed in The Basketball Tournament (TBT).

Outside of collegiate athletics, Jossart has contributed to national outlets including Bleacher Report, FOX Sports, and DraftKings, and has interviewed numerous high-profile athletes and sports figures.
