Riley Casey

Riley Casey joined the Eckerd College women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2025 season after a successful collegiate playing career and strong academic background. A four-year Division I student-athlete at Belmont University, Casey graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies and a minor in Sport Administration. While at Belmont, she earned the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Board of Directors Academic Achievement Award and the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award in both 2022 and 2023.

Beyond the classroom and field, Casey was an active leader on Belmont's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as the MVC SAAC representative, where she spearheaded mental health initiatives across the conference and contributed to shaping conference legislation.

Following graduation from Belmont, Casey used her fifth year of eligibility to compete in the Sunshine State Conference at Lynn University while completing coursework toward an MBA and a master's degree in Strategic Communication. During that time, she gained firsthand experience with the Sunshine State Conference's level of competition, providing valuable insight that she now brings to her coaching role at Eckerd.

In June 2026, Casey earned her U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) National D Coaching License. She also begins her first head coaching role this fall with St. Pete FC, leading the club's U-19 girls ECNL Regional League team.
