Pierre-Olivier Lassalle, a 2022 alum, joined the Eckerd tennis programs in 2025-26 after a decorated career with Eckerd, earning All-Sunshine State Conference recognition and a national singles ranking during his time with the Tritons.

During the shortened 2020 season, Lassalle teamed with Pakrut Patel at No. 1 doubles, where the duo posted a perfect 9-0 record. Their undefeated campaign included upset victories over No. 5 Saint Leo and No. 10 Lynn.

In 2021, Lassalle became the first Eckerd tennis player since 2006 to earn SSC Player of the Week honors.

In 2022, Lassalle earned Second Team All-SSC honors in singles, becoming the first Triton since 2009 to receive all-conference recognition as a singles player. He also reached a season-best No. 24 in the ITA national singles rankings.
