Kim Bennett joined Eckerd as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in September 2025 after graduating from Missouri State University in May 2025.

In her role, Bennett leads the creation of athletics graphics and digital content, manages the athletics website and supports game-day operations, including live statistics, streaming and event management. A former collegiate softball student-athlete, she brings experience in athletics, digital marketing, graphic design, photography and video production.

A four-year student-athlete at Missouri State, Bennett graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Arts and a minor in Photography. During her time with the Bears, she earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2022 and 2023, was named to the MVC Honor Roll in 2021-22 and 2022-23, received the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award in 2022-23 and was selected to the Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll in Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

In 2026, Bennett earned national recognition through the College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest, placing 11th nationally in the College Division and third among NCAA Division II institutions in the Hype Video category.
