Cam Lanzilli

Cam Lanzilli '19

Lanzilli enters his second season as an assistant coach and pitching coach at Eckerd after gaining experience at the collegiate, professional and player development levels.

In his first year with the Tritons, Lanzilli helped guide one of the biggest turnarounds in NCAA Division II baseball, as Eckerd posted a 22-win improvement from 2025 to 2026—the largest year-over-year increase in the division. Under his guidance, the pitching staff also produced two NCBWA South Region Pitcher of the Week honorees.

Prior to Eckerd, Lanzilli served as Lead Throwing Strategist at KineticPro Performance and Director of Pitching at Ascent Athlete. He also worked as a Player Development Coach with the Baltimore Orioles organization and spent time as an assistant coach at Florida Southern. Additionally, he served as a scout for Perfect Game USA, evaluating talent for the Los Angeles Angels.

Lanzilli graduated from Eckerd in 2019. He was a three-year standout for the Tritons, having transferred in from UMass Lowell. He spent his first two seasons coming out of the bullpen before transitioning to a starter in his senior season, where Eckerd won the SSC Championship and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 32 years. Over his three years, he appeared in 57 games with an 8-4 mark over 108 innings.
