Boutilier joined the Sports Medicine department in the fall of 2021 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. 

She comes to Eckerd after spending the summer as an athletic trainer for the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. 

She also spent two seasons as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of St. Joseph, working primarily with men's basketball and coach Jim Calhoun.

Ray is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Eastern Athletic Training Association, and Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association. She holds certifications in CPR/AED, BOC, and EMT-B. 

She obtainer her bachelor of science in athletic training from Central Connecticut State in 2017, and her master's degree in exercise science in 2021 also from Central Connecticut State , where she spent two years as a graduate assistant.
