2019 (Junior): Appeared in 44 games with 42 starts in left field… Hit .155 on the season with three doubles and one homerun while driving in eight.. Was a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen bases… Hit a homerun in conference play against Tampa (Feb. 16).

2018 (Sophomore): Started 44 games in left field hitting .214 with 11 RBIs…Smacked her first career homerun against No. 3 West Florida (Feb. 3)…Had a six-game hitting streak from March 23 through March 30 while going 9-for-14 at the plate including three multi-hit games...Blasted a solo homerun against Nova Southeastern on March 29...Named to SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2017 (Freshman): Saw plenty of action in her rookie season appearing in 40 games while making 26 starts…Finished the season with a .182 batting average…Was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases on the season…Recorded her first collegiate hit against Trevecca Nazarene (Feb. 10) while also scoring two runs…Went 3-for-4 at Saint Leo (March 11).

Prior to Eckerd: Attended Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she was an all-conference and all-academic honoree...Played travel ball with the Bartlett Silver Hawks...Played two years of varsity volleyball at Downers Grove North...Made the Honor Roll in all four years of high school.

Personal: Daughter of Greg and Gina Newstrom...Hobbies include sports and art.
