Kevin Pahl

Kevin Pahl is entering his second season as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Eckerd College.

Pahl recently completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Furman University. A former US Youth National Team player, Pahl was a four-year letter winner for the Furman Paladins, captaining the team for two years. While at Furman, he was part of two Southern Conference Championships and garnered an All-Southern Conference Second Team selection as well as a Southern Conference All-Tournament Selection.

“I had the pleasure of coaching against Kevin while he was playing at Furman and I was an assistant at Mercer. He exemplified all the character traits of a great student-athlete and I’m delighted he joins me here at Eckerd," said EC head coach Ian Cameron.  "I have no doubt our players will grow on and off the field with under his mentorship.”

Pahl caught the coaching bug while being a soccer camp instructor at the Doug Allison Soccer Academy in Greenville, SC. In his final year at Furman Pahl also served as the Associate Head Coach at Brashier Charter High School.

"I am very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the coaching staff here at Eckerd College, and I look forward to working along side Coach Cameron," Pahl said. "It is an honor to join such a successful and well respected program. I hope to continue the tradition of helping recruit and develop some of the top student-athletes, both on and off the field, and bring the Tritons to a new peak of success."

A native of Lakeland, Fla., Pahl attended George Jenkins High School. He was a member of the Florida ODP and Region III teams from 2007-2010.
