Regan enters his 18th season as an assistant coach for the baseball team heading into the 2026 season. In addition to his role with the Tritons, he also has served for the hitting coach for the Newport Gulls in the New England Collegiate League for the past five years. 

Currently resides in St. Pete for the Season and returns back to there home in Fall River Massachusetts

Regan also spent time as an assistant coach for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League for three years and currently is an assistant for the Wareham Gatemen.
 
Prior to Eckerd, Regan served as the Director for River City Baseball for 15 years, and coached the USA/Japan International Friendship Series held in Tokyo in 1996.
 
The Fall River Herald News of Fall River, Mass., awarded him the honor of “Coaches Who Make a Difference,” while he was an assistant coach at Bishop Connolly High School.

Regan has been married to his wife, Pat, for 52 years. Their son, Matthew, is a police officer in St. Petersburg and is a 2003 Eckerd College graduate. Regan resides in St. Petersburg, Fla. during the season and returns back to their home in Fall River, Mass.
