Adam Moreau joined the Eckerd baseball coaching staff in 2019 before becoming the Director of Player Development and Recruiting Coordinator of his alma mater in 2020.
Moreau appeared in 70 games in the infield over his three seasons as a Triton, before spending one season at the University of Dayton.
His collegiate career, capped by hitting .361 and slugging nearly .600 in the California Collegiate League, was enough to elicit professional interest. However, due to continued complications from a 2015 shoulder injury he suffered while playing in the Alaska Baseball league, Moreau pursued his passions in athletic performance, research, player development, and coaching.
As a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Moreau co-founded the New Orleans Sports Performance Institute, where he ran the company from 2017 to 2020. He primarily trained high school, collegiate, and professional baseball players.
He then established himself in the private sector of player development after co-founding FlexPro Grip. FlexPro is a company that manufactures a grip training device designed to help players reduce their risk of ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) tears while improving velocity, command, spin rate, as well as accelerate the rehab of those who suffer elbow injuries.
Moreau has helped several players reach the ranks of playing professional baseball.
At Eckerd, he formulates and executes individual and team development plans. In addition to heading player development and recruiting, Moreau is in charge of scouting reports, data capture, and analytics for the Tritons. He also formulates and executes individual and team development plans.
Moreau graduated from Eckerd in 2016, ranking first in his Business Administration/Management class and later completed his MBA from the University of Dayton in 2018.
