2016 (Sophomore): Did not make any appearances.

2015 (Freshman): Appeared in three games as a relief pitcher...Recorded two strikeouts through 2.1 innings.

Prior to Eckerd: Was a three year starter and letter winner on the baseball team…Had a phenomenal senior campaign throwing a no hitter and stringing together a 17 strikeout game…Was named first team all-division while throwing a 1.77 ERA…Participated in the 2014 Rhode Island Senior All-Star game.

Personal: Born February 29…Son of Charles and Melissa Paiva…Has one sister, Lauren (21)…Father (Charles) played baseball at Eckerd College (1978-1981)…Sister (Lauren) plays softball at Providence College (2011-2015)…Hobbies include playing basketball, hanging out with friends, and watching baseball…Lists favorite team as the Boston Red Sox and favorite athlete as Pedro Martinez...Chose Eckerd over Flagler College, the University of Rhode Island, and Rollins College.
