Located directly on Boca Ciega Bay, the Doyle Sailing Center serves as the home of the Eckerd College sailing programs and provides the Tritons with direct access to their home waters.

The $1.6 million facility features floating docks with 26 slips, a double pavilion providing a viewing area for spectators, coaches’ offices, showers and changing areas. Its location allows the Tritons to launch directly into Boca Ciega Bay for training and competition.

Dedicated in 2016 and named for the Doyle family of DEX Imaging, the facility regularly hosts collegiate regattas, including South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association championship events.

Directions

Enter Eckerd College through the main entrance at 4200 54th Avenue South. Follow the campus roadway toward the west side of campus and the waterfront. The Doyle Sailing Center is located on Boca Ciega Bay, southwest of the Galbraith Marine Science Laboratory.
