2011 (Senior): Triton Award Winner…Named to SSC Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll…With 10 assists in career, ranks tied for 13th-best all time in school history...Played in 17 games and started in 16…Had 21 shots, including 9 on goal…Ended the season with two assists…Scored goal in conference battle against Florida Tech…Recorded points in the final two games of his career…Assisted goals against Rollins College in the SSC Tournament and the second game of the season against St. Thomas University.

2010 (Junior): Starting midfielder was injured four games into the season and missed the remainder of the year...Prior to injury, had a goal and an assist, including season's first goal in 3-0 win over Georgia Southwestern on Sept. 3...Recorded 13 shots...Was named to SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll following fall semester.

2009 (Sophomore): Started and appeared in 13 games...Had two assists, both in SSC contests against Florida Southern (Sept. 23) and Tampa (Oct. 13)...Had 13 shots, including seven on goal...Was named to SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2008 (Freshman): Started 17 games for the Tritons as a freshman play-making central midfielder...Tallied six assists (tied for 15th best in single-season history) and six points...Registered two assists in the Tritons' 4-2 victory at Palm Beach Atlantic (9/3/08).

Prior to Eckerd:: Played for Coach Steven Campbell at Seaton Burn High School in Newcastle, England … he was named Player of the Year in 2006 and was team captain throughout his high school career where he helped his team win the County Cup.  Was also the winner of the Sports Personality of the Year in his hometown.

Personal: Son of David and Susan Niven…Born on July 2… A  fan of Steven Gerrard and Newcastle United...Chose Eckerd thanks to how beautiful the school is and how much promise the soccer team has.
