2011: Newcomer was one of just three Tritons to play and start in all 49 games...Led squad with 29 runs scored and was second with 49 hits...Also went 14-for-17 in stolen bases...Had 11 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit contests against Concordia (Feb. 27) and Webber International (April 13)...Despite not getting a hit, scored three times in win at Saint Leo on Feb. 15...Was named to SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Personal: Born on April 2, 1990 in St. Petersburg, Fla...Son of Gary Gibson and Debbie Mcgillen...Has two siblings, Brittany and Haydyn...Majoring in business management...Favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays and favorite player is Torii Hunter...Chose Eckerd because it is close to home and the chance to play in a great conference.
