Prior to Eckerd: Attended Waverly High School in Waverly, Kansas, where she finished her career as the program's leader in career kills and hitting percentage while also setting records for the most kills and blocks in a match...Was a four-time first team all-league selection and four-time Kansas Volleyball Association All-State honoree, earning a spot on the first team following her senior season...Named to the state all-tournament team three times...Was an all-league honorable mention selection in basketball and qualified for the state track meet twice.

Personal: Born on September 8...Daughter of Craig and Peggy Meader...Has a sister, Paige, who played college volleyball at Baker (Kan.)
