Biography

2012 (Senior): Named to the SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll...Durable arm who posted one of the team's best ERA's with a 4.19 mark in his final season...Appeared in 12 games with five starts and shut the door for a save...Compiled a 3-4 record on the mound...Fourth on the team in strikeouts with 35 and finished by giving up just 41 hits in 43 innings of work...Held hitters to a .252 average...Struck out seven in 5 2/3 scoreless innings against Florida Christian College (Feb. 11), allowing just three hits in the winning decision...Fanned a season-high eight in his first start of the spring against Florida Memorial University (March 3), yielding just one run on five hits...Picked up the win in three consecutive outings, including a scoreless frame against Saint Anselm College (Feb. 28) in a 6-5 Eckerd win...Received his first SSC start at Barry University, lasting 7 2/3 innings and giving up just two earned runs...ERA was lowered to 2.60 following two perfect innings in relief against Webber International University (April 25).

2011 (Junior): Made 15 appearances and was third on team in innings pitched (46 1/3)...Was primary reliever to start the year but became a weekend starter in April after strong performance against Nova Southeastern on April 2...Tossed eight innings, allowed two runs and struck out seven to help lead Tritons to first SSC victory...Started in each of Tritons' final six conference weekend series...Was named to SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010 (Sophomore): Tied for second on staff with four wins and was fourth among pitchers in games started (six)...Made 15 appearances overall...Had 33 strikeouts in 44 1/3 innings...Went 7 1/3 innings and gave up just one unearned run in a 3-1 victory over Florida Memorial on Feb. 26... Business management major was named to the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2009 (Freshman): Made 15 appearances and eight starts...Posted a 5-4 win-loss record.

Prior to Eckerd: Played for Coaches Bob Hamilton and John Lancaster at Canterbury School of Florida…Earned First Team All-State Class 1A and Team MVP honors.

Personal: Born on Jan. 16 in St. Petersburg, Fla…Son of John and Robin Lancaster...Has an older brother, Kurt…Majoring in business management...Names Chad Ochocinco as his favorite athlete…Chose Eckerd because of the area and the strength of the Sunshine State Conference.
