Competing in NCAA Division II, Eckerd's 16 athletic programs face the same demanding schedules, training loads, and recovery needs as their Division I counterparts. By partnering with Enduraphin, the Tritons are ensuring that every athlete has access to NSF Certified and Informed Sport certified protein — the gold standard trusted by over 150 Division I and professional teams across the country.
This partnership represents more than a supplement upgrade; it is a major shift in how recovery is delivered to Eckerd athletes. Gone are the days of relying on store-bought chocolate milk and non-certified proteins. The relationship between Eckerd College and Enduraphin began when Deputy Athletic Director Billy Evers '04 connected with the Enduraphin team at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) conference. That introduction has grown into a partnership that highlights the strength of Florida-based collaboration, with Enduraphin headquartered in Orlando and Eckerd College based in St. Petersburg.
