Athletic Communications Staff Receives 16 CSC Publication Awards

LAS VEGAS - Eckerd's Athletic Communications staff of Amanda Green and Brittany Iamele received 16 accolades at the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Convention last week in the annual Creative and Digital Design Contests, including two 'Best in the Nation' winners. 

Eckerd's 16 total awards rank sixth most in the nation and third among Division II schools.

Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications, Amanda Green, paired with Iamele for a 'Best in the Nation' in the College Division and in Division II for Eckerd's 2022-23 Annual Report in the Online Magazine and Event Programs category. 

Iamele finished as runner-up for Photographer of the Year while ranking No. 1 in Division II. View her portfolio. Additionally, Iamele had four videos recognized. Her Ultimate Triton segment on Lauryn Vieira showed at the Annual Triton Dinner Auction, placed fifth in the College Divison and Divison II in the Long Form Video category. In the Short Form Video/Reels, Iamele's women's golf regional hype video placed eighth in the College Division and sixth in Division II. Her All-American highlight of Stella Antypa placed 14th in the College Division and ninth in Division II, while her women's soccer SSC opening round highlight placed 15th in the College Division and 10th in Division II.

This year's field of participants saw more than 1,600 entries, an increase of 69% from last year's contest, and included 697 entries from the University Division and 921 from the College Division. Division II led with 391 entries. Embry-Riddle led all participating schools, with 34 places in total.

Green has previously placed in the CSC Digital Design Contest with a Best In the Nation award last summer and three other top-10 national rankings over the past four years.
